How We Judge The American Idol RPG Contest
The AI Forever: The American Idol RPG Contest is quite simple. Here is the guide to how we judge your performances.
Your singing is based on three things:
Roleplay Song Choice and Voice Quiz Score
Roleplays will be mainly what the judges will look at. Grammar and length are the two things we look for in a roleplay. In order to do well, you must have a good roleplay.
Another thing the judges will look for is song selection. During your audition, you will be asked to give your character's voice, made up of 3 Idols/singers. For example, a voice could be AJ Gil/Clay Aiken/Maroon 5 . However, your voice must have a good combination. The example voice probably wouldn't do very well because the combination is random. The song selection comes in because the judges are able to tell whether you can pull a song off. For example, the voice Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey/Beyonce could pull off "I Have Nothing" because each individual in the voice could sing the song well. Judging song selection is more complicated than just being able to pull it off, however, cause we must add in originality and other details.
Finally, the quiz is another thing we judge. However, it does not count as much as roleplay and song choice/voice. It does, however, help your score, but it will not determine it.
